Ag Viability Roundtable (Part 2)
This work session asks the question: “Why don’t family farms in Washington make enough to support a thriving community of farmers and farm workers?”
Together, we’ll explore the complex dynamics of operating a family owned and operated farm in Washington. Data, stories and perspectives will guide our dialogue as we work to get at the root of the viability challenge. We’ll close by exploring the potential of coalescing into a powerful collective voice, made up of multiple interests, that can speak out in support of family farms and the farmers and farm workers who rely on them for their livelihoods.
