Master Composter/Sustainability Stewards are Seattle residents who are passionate about the environment, building healthy soil and the health of our communities and have been trained by Tilth Alliance to teach neighbors about composting and other aspects of living sustainably. Soil & Water Stewards
Our Soil and Water Stewardship program offers a comprehensive, nine-month training in sustainable food production and natural resource conservation for Seattle and King County residents. Find out how to become a Soil & Water Steward.
Rainier Beach Youth Stewards
As a Rainier Beach Youth Steward, youth ages 14-18 gain job experience through wetland restoration and farm education. The Stewards participate in different aspects of farm operations, learn about wetland restoration at the farm, and build relationships with peers, adult staff, and volunteers.
Go Green! Garden Club
Tilth Alliance’s Go Green! Garden Club is a youth-centered space especially curated for high school students who are interested in food and environmental justice, restoring our waters, connecting to the land, and exploring ways of building a relationship with plants as food, medicine, art, and more.
