Join us for this year’s Tilth Conference co-hosted by Tilth Alliance, the Washington Organic Recycling Council (WORC) and Washington State University Extension’s Regional Small Farms Program! It’s Oct. 26-28, 2023, in Port Townsend, WA. The Tilth Conference is an annual event bringing together hundreds of farmers, food system professionals, composters, researchers and educators for more than 25 lectures, workshops and panel discussions that highlight Washington’s farmers and farm businesses.

Our theme this year is “Returning to Common Ground: Building Cooperative Food Systems for a More Resilient Future.” Between climate change worries, land access difficulties, financial management, and hard physical, emotional, and mental labor, starting, developing, and maintaining a farm business can be incredibly challenging. We believe that strengthening ties to our communities and cultivating models of reciprocity and mutual aid are essential to overcoming these hurdles. We hope you’ll join us this October in our search for common ground.

Registration deadline: Friday, October 6

Tilth Alliance strives to make participation in the conference affordable for as many people as possible, regardless of financial means. Tickets are offered at three price points this year:

All other registrants$500.00

Scholarships are available to help cover the cost of conference participation for those unable to register otherwise.
