Want to grow your own food? Become a wetlands warrior? Join a soil and sustainability squad? Earn service hours and build leadership skills? Join the “Go Green! Garden Club” on Wednesdays!
Tilth Alliance’s Go Green! Garden Club is a youth-centered space especially curated for high school students who are interested in food and environmental justice, restoring our waters, connecting to the land, and exploring ways of building a relationship with plants as food, medicine, art, and more.
In this weekly club, we will:
- Plant and grow food together, from soil to snack.
- Help build and restore wildlife habitats.
- Cook delicious, fresh, seasonal, and culturally diverse foods.
- Make art using plant-based, natural materials.
- Connect to our earth and ourselves as makers and healers through teas and salves.
- Organize and activate youth around issues that you care about!
The Go Green! Garden club will connect you to nature and to community while building leadership, communication and teamwork skills. Go Green! Grow You!
