The Coalition for Organic and Regenerative Agriculture (CORA) is currently working to help pass a $1.67 million budget request that would fund an Organic Inspection Credit to help offset the cost of the annual organic inspection for organic farms and handling or processing businesses.
By decreasing the financial burden for businesses working to achieve or maintain organic certification we can increase participation in the organic sector and create more market opportunities for Washington’s organic farms and businesses.
