My Approach to Biological Farming: Successful Case Studies

  • Date: Thursday, November 13
  • Time: 9:45-11 a.m.
  • Speaker: Todd Harrington, Harrington’s Organic Land Care
  • Location: Great Room
  • Tracks: Farm & Food Symposium, Keynote

In this session, Todd Harrington presents his model of on-farm fertility — the idea that farms can produce their own biology and fertility by harnessing local inputs, composts, and biological systems. Through case studies from his consulting work, Todd shows how farms gained control of fertility by integrating compost extracts, microbial inoculants, and iterative testing.

Special guest Adam York will join Todd to share how they collaborated to design a successful biological transition plan for his farm. Their work not only reshaped Adam’s operation but also led to the creation of AgriBio Systems, now helping transition thousands of acres to biology-first systems. This joint session blends Todd’s global consulting experience with Adam’s on-the-ground transformation, offering attendees practical insights into the path from soil health to farm resilience and business innovation.
