Niya Weedon is an urban beekeeper and pollinator educator. With just 5 years of experience in beekeeping, Niya still considers herself a new beekeeper as there is always so much to learn about bees and new information on keeping them! She started her learning as a farm hand on organic urban farms in the Washington D.C. region before becoming a full-time beekeeper 3 years ago. Now she spends her days tending to hives all around the Puget Sound area teaching people about the wonders of honeybees and other pollinators! Niya is a member of the Puget Sound Beekeeping Association.
