- We offer several different topics for field trips and service learning. Browse available topics here.
- We do not offer field trips in the winter or summer. Our Fall 2026 registration will open soon.
- Field trips are offered Tuesdays-Fridays at both the Children’s Garden at the Good Shepherd’s Center in Wallingford and at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands. No Monday field trips available.
- Field trips are 60-120 minutes long and occur rain or shine — please dress for the weather. If you have multiple classes attending on the same date, each field trip may be shortened slightly to accommodate schedules. Both locations have parks adjacent to them where your class can eat lunch.
- Once we receive your request, we will reach out to you within two business days to finalize scheduling. We look forward to gardening and learning with you soon!
