The Giving Grove: Little orchards. Big impact. Tilth Alliance is excited to be a Seattle-area affiliate of The Giving Grove.
The Giving Grove is a national nonprofit whose mission is to provide healthy calories, strengthen community, and improve the urban environment through a nationwide network of sustainable little orchards.
Our new partnership with the Giving Grove will help grow and sustain community orchards in the Seattle area. With their support, we are able to work with community partners to design and install fruit trees at community gardens, urban farms, schools and other locations. We also provide tools and ongoing support in pruning, harvesting, food preservation and more.
Beyond providing thousands of pounds of healthy food, these orchards create beautiful community gathering and educational spaces, support pollinators and wildlife and strengthen neighborhood resiliency and food sovereignty.
