The Winter Market at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands is back! It’s happening Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands (5513 S Cloverdale St).

Come stock up on local winter produce like apples, potatoes and winter squash! We’ll also have your favorite local honey, jams, and pantry goods. This year we’re excited to showcase goods made by Tilth Alliance staff that have been sewn, crocheted, crafted and more! Our Maritime Northwest Garden Guide and other books, gardening tools, and other gift items will also be available.

We accept cash, credit, EBT, Fresh Bucks and offer SNAP Market Match.

Community Kitchen Corner

While enjoying the Winter Market, stop by the Community Kitchen Corner where we’ll have delectable dishes to try, highlighting the seasonal produce and goods that the market and our Washington bounty offers. Everything at our Winter Market was grown and packaged here in Washington, some right here at our farm! We’ll have lots of delicious things to taste test, along with their recipes to bring home if you like what you tasted. This community kitchen event is a free, family-friendly experience, open to all. No registration or purchase required.

Help prepare and cook the food for the Community Kitchen Corner at the Winter Market. We’ll be preparing the food on Friday, the day before the event. This is a fun opportunity for folks to share and develop their culinary skills and learn about the recipes.
