Winding Down the Season: Growing Food and Building Healthy Soil for Next Year – South Seattle

This class is for P-Patch gardeners.
What should you do with your plot as the summer comes to an end and fall is in the air? Come learn about mulches, cover crops and over-wintering vegetables that will keep your soil healthy during our winter rainy season. We will discuss and demonstrate soil testing, planting and managing cover crops, and other soil building activities appropriate for P-Patch gardeners during the fall.
*Please only sign up for a session at 1 location, as we have limited spaces for in-person attendees. This page is for registration at Bradner Gardens Park in Mt. Baker. You can register for the session at Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford, which is on October 7th here.
