Description

Let’s get creative! Every Thursday for 10 weeks this Spring, we will explore the Children’s Garden through a variety of media, including colored pencils, clay, paints, and natural garden materials. We will learn about animal habitats, plant lifecycles, culinary arts, seasonal changes, and much more!

As we draw inspiration and use materials from nature, we will develop our reciprocal relationship with the garden and practice caring for the garden as the garden cares for us. On the final day of our series, we will display our work and turn the garden into a colorful art gallery for families to enjoy.

About Our Youth Programs

Program happens rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and for a hands-on garden/farm day – layers, a hat, and closed toed shoes; rain gear on rainy days. Please apply sunscreen before camp, and send additional sunscreen with your child. Each day, campers bring a water bottle, lunch and two filling snacks to be prepared for an active camp day. (Preschool half-day camps do not include lunch.)

Tilth Alliance strives to educate all children regardless of their financial means. All youth programs include a limited number of reduced price tickets. If a reduced price ticket is still not affordable, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship.
