Let’s discover seeds and sprouts in our spring garden! Together, we’ll use our senses to take a closer look at seeds, new sprouts, plant cycles, healthy soil, our beloved decomposers (bugs!) and more.

During camp, we will:

  • Observe and dissect seeds, plant flowers and vegetables in the garden, and help emerging pollinators.
  • Start herb and flower plants from seed to take home- learn to care for them as they grow.
  • Investigate our environment and deepen our garden knowledge. How do seeds know when to sprout? What do different plants need to grow?
  • Prepare seed and sprout inspired seasonal snack, make garden tea, create seasonal art, and care for the garden.
  • Go on a walking field trip to Green Lake to learn about our local ecosystem.
  • Explore how we can strengthen our connection with the natural world while having a fun-filled spring break!

This camp will be held outdoors with some indoor time for crafting and in the case of inclement weather.
