Second Chance Sale
You’re invited to Tilth Alliance’s Second Chance Edible Plant Sale! The Edible Plant Sale was a wonderful success and we have some beautiful plants left over. If you missed the sale or still want a few more plants, this is an excellent opportunity to get great plants for a great price! It’s Tuesday, May 10, 2-6 p.m. in the Children’s Garden at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N). First come, first served.
Take your pick from a nice selection of veggies, herbs and edible flowers! Tomato varieties include Sweet Million, Purple Bumblebee, Brandywine Red, Granny Cantrell’s, Red Cosmonaut, Beam’s Yellow Pear, Chadwick’s Cherry, Blush Cherry, Missouri Pink Reds, Momataro Reds, and more. We also have plenty of basil left, including Lettuce Leaf, Holy Leaf, Rosie and more. There are also lots of unique edible and pollinator flowers remaining, like alumroot, snapdragons and zinnias. Excellent selection of peppers left. All plants are organically and sustainably grown.
Prices
All plants will be available for $2 per plant. Cedar Grove compost will also be available for $6 per bag. All of the proceeds support Tilth Alliance’s programs in garden, farm and food education nurturing a sustainable food future for all people.
