You’re invited to Tilth Alliance’s Second Chance Edible Plant Sale! The Edible Plant Sale was a wonderful success and we have some beautiful plants left over. If you missed the sale or still want a few more plants, this is an excellent opportunity to get great plants for a great price! It’s Tuesday, May 9, 2-6 p.m. in the Children’s Garden at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Ave N). First come, first served.

Take your pick from a nice selection of veggies, herbs and edible flowers! There is a large selection of basil left (especially Genovese basil), cucumbers, all kinds of lettuce, lots of greens and a fair amount of squash. We also have a lot of onions remaining, corn and an assortment of herbs, edible flowers and pollinator plants. All plants are organically and sustainably grown.

We’ll also have Cedar Grove compost ($7) and potting soil ($6) available for purchase.

Prices

All plants will be available for 50% off — most will be $2.50. Cedar Grove compost and soil will also be available. All of the proceeds support Tilth Alliance’s programs in garden, farm and food education nurturing a sustainable food future for all people.
