What is Seattle Forest Week?

As the Green Seattle Partnership expanded its reach, a single day was no longer sufficient to kick off the planting season; thus, Seattle Forest Week was born. Seattle Forest Week is a celebration of the Urban Forest: This week’s events are great opportunities to join in on planting, forest bathing, bird & plant walks, and helping shape what future participation can look like!

What is Green Seattle Day?

Green Seattle Day began in 2005 to celebrate the dedication of Green Seattle Partnership volunteers and community groups working to restore and preserve our city’s greenspaces. Green Seattle Day now marks the first day of Seattle Forest Week activities.
