You’re invited! Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands is hosting a Community Seed Swap, and we want you to be there. Join us for this free, family-friendly event for gardeners and garden-hopefuls. No registration required, RSVP appreciated.

What is a community seed swap? A family-friendly gathering for gardeners of all experience levels to share seeds, gardening resources and connect with each other. Bring your garden-saved seeds, excess seeds you have from opened packets or just yourself if you’re just getting started. We’ll have some seeds to share, too.

The Garden Hotline will be there to answer all your gardening questions, like how to check for seed viability. Plus, we will have activities for all ages, seed-themed snacks and free educational resources to take home.

As a bonus, you will have an opportunity to watch the amazing film Seed: An Untold Story for free for five days following the event. Watch the trailer and sign up to watch.
