Discover the magic of pruning and propagation with your edible perennials, and enjoy more herbs, fruit, and select veggies! In this 4-hour workshop, we’ll explore the basic principles behind these techniques, so that you feel confident stewarding your garden over time and enjoy sharing your bounty.

- An overview of various techniques for pruning & propagation
- Strategies that are useful with edible herbaceous plants, shrubs and trees

- A tour of Tilth Alliance’s Learning Garden
- Pruning practice in small groups
- Plant propagation two ways: through division and with cuttings
This in-person workshop will take place on Saturday, March 28th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will include a half-hour break for lunch. Class will include a conversational lecture, hands-on activities, and participants will leave with a set of comprehensive resources for continued learning. Class size is limited to about 15 participants, and we will be following current public health recommendations.
