Description

In this program, students will learn all about what it means to be a naturalist. Every Wednesday for 10 weeks, join us at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands to celebrate the arrival of spring with art, games, and songs. Students will hone their naturalist skills as we investigate evidence of wildlife and observe the different relationships found in the garden.

We will learn about beneficial pollinators and predators, and practice ways to attract them to the garden, as well as other ways to help our garden ecosystem thrive. Through these experiences, we will develop our reciprocal relationship with the land, learn about plant and animal knowledge, and practice caring for land as the land cares for us.
