DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\n\nDid you know that vinegar is made with fermented fruits? It’s true! Learn how easy it is to turn local bounty like apples and grapes into tasty ferments that can be added to a wide range of recipes. A simple two-step process allows the home cook to turn fruit scraps into tasty tonics.  \n\n\n\nIn this class we will: \n\n\n\n\nProvide an introduction to fermentation techniques and tools\n\n\n\nLearn how to make vinegars from fruit scraps\n\n\n\nTaste test fruit vinegars and infused vinegars\n\n\n\nMake a recipe to take home for fermenting\n\n\n\n\nThis in-person class will take place indoors\, with a combination of show-and-tell\, conversational lecture and some taste testing. Class size is limited to about 15 people\, and we will be following current public health recommendations. *Cost of class includes supplies – you will take a vinegar starter home.
