Description

Preserve the harvest and add excitement to your table with homemade pickles! Join us for this class to learn how to make pickles beyond your garden variety cucumber dills.

In this class we will:

  • Discuss basics of food safety with different pickling methods
  • Demonstrate different pickling methods, including canning and fermentation
  • Learn how to make easy refrigerator pickles

This in-person class will take place both indoors & outdoors, with a combination of conversational lecture and hands-on activities in the kitchen. Class size is limited to about 15 people, and we will be following current public health recommendations. Come prepared to have fun and get messy. Cost of class includes supplies — you will take a small sample home.
