Turn herbs from your garden into culinary and medicinal infusions. Herbs like mint, fennel, lavender and chamomile are easy to grow and can be made into healthful and delicious homemade products. Learn how to grow, harvest and utilize garden herbs in your kitchen pantry and medicine cabinet. Plus, you’ll leave with infusions to test and enjoy!

During this 4 hour session, we will:

  • Discuss and taste different types of infusions including decoctions, vinegars, oils and syrups
  • Explore the various culinary and medicinal uses of these herbal preparations
  • Take a garden tour
  • Learn varieties of plants to grow and which parts of plants to harvest
  • Make an herb-infused vinegar to take home

This class will take place both indoors and outdoors with hands-on activities. We will take a half-hour break mid-way through the day for lunch. Participants will receive a detailed outline with information and recipes, along with herbal infusions to enjoy at home. Cost of class includes supplies.
