Little Gardeners: Seeds and Soil (Wallingford)
Description
Explore the wonders of the garden this November in our 90-minute, hands-on family camp! We’ll use our senses to investigate the soil and meet our wiggly worm friends. Each child will collect flower seeds to grow at home, while learning about the cultural significance of flowers through the seasons.
After getting to know the garden’s hidden heroes, we’ll engage our bodies and imaginations through songs, stories, and movement all about the natural rhythms of fall. This sensory adventure is sure to spark wonder about the intricate ecosystems thriving all around us.
Throughout our time together, you and your child will be guided by Tilth Alliance staff, learning about the wonders of seasonal produce and the bounty the fall garden has to offer.
