Description

Spring is in full bloom in our garden, and we can’t wait to explore it with you! In this weekend camp, we will learn about different ways we can have relationships with the garden. Together on our first day, we will learn about what plants need to survive and how to nurture a garden. On our second day, we will discover the magic of harvesting. Using garden fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, we will cook delicious meals, brew refreshing tea, and make art.

About Our Youth Programs

Program happens rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and for a hands-on garden/farm day – layers, a hat, and closed toed shoes; rain gear on rainy days. Please apply sunscreen before camp, and send additional sunscreen with your child. Each day, campers bring a water bottle, lunch and two filling snacks to be prepared for an active camp day. (Preschool half-day camps do not include lunch.)

Scholarships

Tilth Alliance strives to educate all children regardless of their financial means. All youth programs include a limited number of reduced price tickets. If a reduced price ticket is still not affordable, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship.
