Junior Organic Gardeners

Description
What does it take for a garden to grow? Every Thursday for 10 weeks, we will dig deep into organic gardening. Learn to plan and prepare garden beds, plant seeds and starts, compost with worms, organically manage pests, save seeds, know when to harvest, and much more!
We will learn how to support healthy ecosystems while growing food and pollinator plants that thrive in our Northwest environment. Along the way, we will play games, create art, conduct scientific investigations, and make tasty garden snacks! Through these experiences, we will develop our reciprocal relationship with the land, learn about plant and animal knowledge, and practice caring for land as the land cares for us.
