Description

Together, let’s discover ecosystems in our spring garden! As garden naturalists, we’ll use our senses to take a closer look at bugs, soil, plants, water, and more.
During camp, we will:

  • Observe and dissect seeds, plant new vegetables, and help emerging pollinators
  • Investigate and deepen our plant and animal knowledge: How do worms turn food scraps into soil? How do seeds know when to grow?
  • Cook seasonal snacks, create art, and care for the garden
  • Develop our reciprocal relationship with the land, working towards a culminating stewardship project.
  • Explore how we can strengthen our connection with the natural world while having a fun-filled spring break!

This camp will be held outdoors with some indoor instructional time for crafting and in the case of inclement weather. Families will receive recipes to try at home.
