Garden Maintenance 101
Description
So you’ve planted a garden — now what? In exchange for our care and attention, gardens can offer us nourishment, beauty, and a space to connect with the natural world. As the summer season begins, you might be wondering how to encourage a healthy and bountiful garden throughout the year! In this maintenance-focused class we’ll discuss tips and techniques to help your plants, soil, and garden companions thrive.
In this class, we will cover:
- Fertilizing and watering
- Natural pest management
- How to harvest different crops
This in-person class will take place outdoors and include a conversational lecture, show & tell and a garden tour. Class size is limited to about 15 people, and we will be following current public health recommendations. Please dress for the weather and messy garden soil.
