So you’ve planted a garden — now what? In exchange for our care and attention, gardens can offer us nourishment, beauty, and a space to connect with the natural world. As the summer season begins, you might be wondering how to encourage a healthy and bountiful garden throughout the year! In this maintenance-focused class we’ll discuss tips and techniques to help your plants, soil, and garden companions thrive.

In this class, we will cover:

  • Fertilizing and watering
  • Natural pest management
  • How to harvest different crops

This in-person class will be outdoors and will include group discussion, a garden tour and hands-on activities. Class size is limited to about 15 people, and we will be following current public health recommendations. Participants will leave with a set of comprehensive resources for continued learning.
