Join us Saturday, September 17; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for Farm Fest at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands, a celebration of urban agriculture and the Southeast Seattle community!
Meet farm animals • Multilingual and Indigenous storytelling • Herb bundle making • Veggie printmaking • Capoeira performance with International Capoeira Angola Foundation • Cider press • Musical performance by Ben Hunter • Performances by Rainier Dance Center and Good Foot Dance Collective • Food by Maya’s Restaurant Halal lunch by Masakan Seattle • Popsicles by Mo & Pop’s • Guinean dance performance by Manimou Camara • and more!
Hosted in partnership with Friends of Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands, Farm to Table, and Union Cultural Center, this event is free and open to the public.

Getting There, Parking & Where to Enter
Street parking will be available near Be’er Sheva Park (8702 Seward Park Ave S). Parking may also be available at the Atlantic City Boat Ramp, in the Rite Aid parking lot or in the Pritchard Beach parking lot. No parking will be available along Cloverdale St and no parking will be available on the farm. We strongly encourage walking, biking and using public transportation to get to the farm (Light Rail station is a 15-minute walk; the Route 7 bus stop is a 5-minute walk).
Enter Farm Fest through the pedestrian entrance at Be’er Sheva Park or Cloverdale Street (bike racks available).
Volunteer!
We’ll need volunteers to help out in the days leading up to the event and at the event on Saturday, September 17. If you are interested in helping make the farm look its best in the coming weeks, sign up for one of our regularly-scheduled community work parties.
