This class is meant for beginner and experienced gardeners to creatively optimize their gardening spaces. Whether you are brand new to gardening, growing in a new space, or looking for ways to grow more, these design techniques will inspire you to make it happen!

In this in-person class we will cover:

  • Site analysis, including soil assessment and seasonal exposure
  • Design tools to ease decision making
  • Seasonally appropriate crops, when and where to plant them
  • Soil health for productive plants

This in-person workshop will take place indoors, with a combination of show-and-tell, lecture and mapping activities. The session will be in a room with an air filter and with windows and doors open for good ventilation. Class size is limited to about 15 people, and we will be following current public health recommendations.
