Description
Autumn is a time of abundance, celebration, and experiencing the magic of fall flavors. Each Wednesday, join us as we explore the art of cooking with seasonal treasures, turning pumpkins, apples, and hearty greens into delightful dishes. Through hands-on experiences, participants will:
- Learn essential kitchen techniques such as using knives safely, measuring ingredients, chopping, grating, mixing, and blending.
- Learn how to read recipes and create some of our own.
- Prepare a variety of dishes such as salads, soups, and baked items using seasonal garden veggies.
- Discover the joy of crafting warm and cozy dishes.
This class will be held mostly outdoors with some indoor instructional time for cooking or in the case of inclement weather or to account for daylight saving time. Participants will also explore and care for the garden in addition to harvesting and cooking fall inspired dishes! Class size is limited to 10 participants, and we follow current health guidelines.
