SUMMARY:Community Kitchen Dinner: Sunday Sauce with Kane
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in welcoming Kane\, a passionate culinary enthusiast with nearly 8 years of experience in kitchens and bakeries. Kane’s love for Italian cuisine shines through in every dish. Beyond the kitchen\, he delights in creating memorable experiences for friends and guests alike\, transforming each gathering into a celebration of good food and great company. \n\n\n\nThis event will explore the lifecycle of food\, highlighting sustainable ways to keep kitchen scraps and plate waste out of the landfill. We will have a variety of compost methods on display including worm bins and three-bin systems. \n\n\n\nThis is a free event\, but RSVP is required below. \n\n\n\nWe will have vegan and gluten-free options available in each course. We focus on sourcing ingredients for the meal from small\, local BIPOC farms who use organic growing practices.  \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\n\nFollowing public health guidelines: masks are optional\, and proof of vaccination is not required. We will have limited indoor space alongside outdoor\, covered seating areas. Please dress for the weather. If you plan to explore the farm\, please wear proper footwear.\n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome. Invite friends and family to share a meal with us by registering for yourselves and others! We ask that each person register so we can prepare the correct amount of food.\n\n\n\nOn-site parking is available\, but we encourage visitors to walk\, bike\, or take public transit\, when possible. There is a bike rack on site\, and we are a short walk from 7 and 106 buses and the light rail station.\n\n\n\n\nVolunteer\n\n\n\nThese events are truly a community effort!
