Optimize your garden by learning the science behind how plants grow! By understanding the structure of plants and how they function, you can provide a better environment for them to grow and produce to their full potential.

In this class, you’ll learn about:

  • The energy cycle of plants and plant pigments
  • How plants move nutrients from the air and soil into their stems and leaves
  • Pollination basics

This in-person class will contain an interactive lecture, show & tell, and time for Q & A. We will examine live plants and study schematics and illustrations through a visual slideshow. Come prepared to dive into the fascinating world of plant biology and its role in making a bountiful garden and healthy planet.

Class size is limited to about 20 people, and we will be following current public health recommendations.
