Description
Optimize your garden by learning the science behind how plants grow! By understanding the structure of plants and how they function, you can provide a better environment for them to grow and produce to their full potential.
In this class, you’ll learn about:
- Basics of plant structure and plant morphology
- The energy cycle of plants and plant pigments
- How plants move nutrients from the air and soil into their stems and leaves
- Pollination basics
This in-person workshop will take place primarily indoors in a room with an air filter and doors open for good ventilation. It will include an interactive lecture and time for Q & A. We will examine live plants and study schematics and illustrations through a visual slideshow. Come prepared to dive into the fascinating world of plant biology and its role in making a bountiful garden and healthy planet.
Class size is limited to 15 people, and we will be following current public health recommendations. Please dress for the weather.
