Join us at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands to learn all about beavers! This event is presented in partnership with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and Tilth Alliance. We’ll get to learn from one of their beaver experts, Shawn Behling, while enjoying beaver-inspired snacks and refreshments. Afterwards, we’ll put our skills to the test and explore the farm and wetlands for beaver tracks and signs.

About Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands

This community farm in the Rainier Beach neighborhood is Seattle’s largest urban farm. Co-operated with the Friends of Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands, and owned by Seattle Parks and Recreation, the farm is home to annual and perennial vegetables, raised beds, native plants, greenhouses, giant blueberry bushes, wetlands, a nature trail and a large compost area.
