Description

Let’s celebrate the harvest of fall! Participants will harvest, cook with, and care for the autumn crops at our garden/farm. We will discuss what it means to eat with the seasons, learn to prepare the garden for the winter and explore food preservation. We will make art using plants, play games, and care for a changing garden/farm ecosystem.

About After-School Programs

Please bring a snack and water. After-school sessions are held outdoors — please dress for the weather! Programming happens rain or shine. We will go inside for about one hour after Daylight Savings Time begins, or in the case of inclement weather.

COVID-19 Precautions

We are not requiring masking. Your child is welcome to wear a mask at any point during programming. If your child is exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or is feeling unwell, please keep them home. Review our COVID-19 Safety Policies.

Scholarships

Tilth Alliance strives to educate all children regardless of their financial means. All youth programs include a limited number of reduced price tickets. If a reduced price ticket is still not affordable, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship.
