This week is all about animals and art in the garden! Join us as we investigate the plant and animal friends living in our garden and create beautiful works of art inspired by them! Throughout the week we will:
- Using a variety of media, such as collage and oil pastels, create artwork that reflects the critters and ecosystems in the garden.
- Make functional art for animals like insect homes and bird feeders.
- Learn how to spot, track, and identify animal signs in nature through scavenger hunts, bird watching, and tracking tunnels.
- Build environmental stewardship skills through hands-on projects, like creating garden habitats and food for pollinators.
- Take a closer look at the hidden world of invertebrates through compost and soil investigation.
Please be aware that some activities during this camp will include seeds and nuts.
