Tina Wagner

Tina Wagner has been with Thurston Conservation District for nearly three years, working with the Soil Health program and Education and Outreach team. She is passionate about supporting the community, farmers, and the local food system. She’s a Western Washington native, with ties across the US, from North Carolina, where she earned a BA from Duke University, and later served in the US Air Force at Pope AFB, to the Midwest where she became a certified Master Gardener in St Louis, MO, and to the South, where she lived and served in the USAF in Texas, and finally to Olympia, where she earned a Master of Environmental Studies at The Evergreen State College. Tina, as the Community Agriculture Programs Coordinator, works with many local partners to build and energize community gardens; connect landowners and farmers with land through the South Sound FarmLink and Farm My Yard land matching programs; and bring soil, water, and other Conservation Education to community members across Thurston County.
