With almost nine years working for Stemilt, Melissa started with Stemilt Ag Services picking, thinning, and laying mylar. She was promoted to food safety and safety compliance officer for Wenatchee, Quincy, and Royal City where she handled all Organic Programs. She did 19 organic audits a year for many years along with all food safety and safety needs. Now she is a Field Food Safety Specialist where she continues with great enthusiasm to help growers with many different compliance needs.
