Maia Binhammer is the Fruit Program Manager at Cloud Mountain Farm Center in Everson, WA. Cloud Mountain Farm Center is a production farm, non-profit education center, and nursery. Founded in 2011, the Farm Center’s mission is to share knowledge and resources that support a resilient, accessible, and equitable regional food system. The farm produces over 150 varieties of tree and vine fruits on 4 acres of certified organic diversified field production. Major crops include: apples, pears, peaches, plums, ribes, strawberries, table grapes, and kiwi berries. Maia Binhammer has been at Cloud Mountain Farm Center since 2020, but began her career working on diversified vegetable and livestock farms in Pennsylvania before moving to Western Washington to work as an orchardist.
