Dr. Michelle Rose
Dr. Michelle Rose hails from a lineage of farmers. She was inspired to take up farming after obtaining a degree in neuropsychology where she learned about the connection between food and health. Driven by a passion for food and racial justice, she recognized the importance of having access to nutritious, culturally relevant food in addressing the health challenges that plague many BIPOC communities. Dr. Rose is a beloved, mental health, wellness, nutrition and resiliency coach, mutual aid organizer, culture builder, alchemist and facilitator. Dr. Rose is the founder of Yasuke Commons, a vibrant mutual aid project in Oregon and Washington.
