Dickson Njeri

Dickson (he/him) has 25 years of combined farming experience in Kenya and Washington State. He completed farmer training programs with Tilth Alliance and Highline College. In 2016, he co-founded Wakulima USA, a non-profit organization that supports the East-African immigrant community in the Puget sound. Wakulima provides support and land access for individuals to grow and sell culturally relevant foods. The organization follows a cooperative model that empowers food sovereignty, small business development, and financial stability among its community. In addition to agricultural support, Wakulima provides access to mental health support and youth programming to its community.
