Chris Iberle
Chris is a Food Policy & Programs Strategic Advisor in the City of Seattle’s Office of Sustainability & Environment. He coordinates programs aimed at increasing access to nutritious, culturally relevant, affordable, equitable and sustainably produced food through partnerships with Seattle Public Schools, city-wide Food Action Plan development, a values-based food purchasing initiative, and an environmental justice grant program with King Conservation District. Chris has had previous local food system roles with the WSDA Farm to School program, Tilth Alliance, and Food Lifeline. Chris holds a BA in Political Science from Seattle University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Washington Evans School for Public Policy & Governance.
