Annette Slonim is the Farm to School Lead with the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA). She joined WSDA in 2021 as the Farm to School Purchasing Grant Specialist and helped launch Washington State’s first local food incentive grant program. She has over ten years of farm to school and local food system experience, having previously worked for a local food hub, school garden and food education non-profits, and local health departments to support school wellness and food access initiatives.
