Andrea’s lifelong love of agriculture started growing up on her small family farm in rural Washington County. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Ag Business Management from Oregon State University on the La Grande campus and relocated back to the Willamette Valley after college. She now lives and operates her own farm in Salem with her family who are all also very active in agriculture. Andrea is the Director of Ag Business Support for Oregon Agricultural Trust, a statewide non-profit land trust working to protect farmland farming in perpetuity. She works directly with farmers and ranchers across the state supporting succession planning including how working land easements can aid in transitioning operations to the next generation.
