This session will provide information about various programs available that can assist farmers and producers through technical and financial assistance. We will help attendees better understand agency programs and practices that support conservation, and also help participants better understand how Natural Resources Conservation Service programs assist small scale and urban agricultural producers.

    Rebecca Anderson Bellanca is the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Small Farms and Urban Agriculture Specialist for Washington State. She has certifications in Permaculture, Holistic Management International, and Elaine Ingham’s Soil Food Web School. She has experience on small farms after farm hopping across the US and starting small farms in Texas and Washington.
