Our “Growing Markets for Local Food” event on Friday evening will provide a networking opportunity for farmers to meet with invited buyers, chefs, and restaurateurs who will be available to share their sourcing needs and expectations around supply, quality, and scale as they work with farmers entering new markets.

Farmers of all scales and types will be able to acquire useful insights attending this event, gaining access to resources and connections that will help them develop realistic strategies for scaling their businesses in sustainable ways and positioning their businesses for future opportunities — whether that means growing sales at the farmers market, supplying restaurants, or exploring wholesale readiness.
