Advancing Soil Health in Washington: WaSHI & LTARE Research
This session will provide symposium attendees with a comprehensive overview of the Washington Soil Health Initiative (WaSHI) — its structure, mission, and key state-level committee activities — and then dive into the six-site LTARE (Long-Term Agroecological Research & Extension) network that supports the initiative’s long-term soil-health objectives across Washington’s diverse cropping systems.
