Learn how you can make your operation more productive, resilient, and sustainable by creating habitat for pollinators. Participants will learn how to implement management disciplines that enable them to strengthen their financial position, mitigating risk in the marketplace. Young, beginning, and small producers are especially encouraged to participate. This session is in English and Spanish.

About the Speaker

    21 Acres

    Jess Chandler is the Restoration Ecologist at 21 Acres and a farm assessor through Salmon Safe. She works in tandem with 21 Acres farmers to bolster ecosystem services on campus. This work includes wetland restoration, creating pollinator habitat, managing a small native plant nursery, and establishing rich buffer ecosystems throughout the farm. She has a professional history in ornamental horticulture and an educational background in landscape architecture and wetland science.
